The Bizkaia Treasury has launched this Tuesday, May 2, the campaign to present the Income and Assets declaration, which will close on June 30 and in which it is expected that some 566.000 income declarations will be presented.

As the Biscayan Provincial Council has recalled, seven out of ten statements will have results to be returned, with an average amount of 1.002 euros. For its part, the average amount of the returns with a result to be entered will be 1.794 euros. In this way, the Foral Treasury plans to enter 287 million euros in this income campaign and will return 407 million. Of the latter, 173 million will be returned in the first days of the campaign, since they correspond to declaration proposals that have not been rejected by taxpayers in the case of 'Renta Etxean' or 'Renta Web' accepted.

The Biscayan Treasury has explained that, with the start of the campaign, the customer service in banking entities is also launched, which is part of the catalog of services intended to make it easier for all taxpayers to "comply in the most comfortable way with their tax liability. In more than 300 branches of six entities (Kutxabank, Laboral Kutxa, BBVA, Santander, Caixabank and Sabadell), taxpayers who wish may request the preparation of their declaration or the rectification of the Renta Etxean and Renta Web proposals. In cases where the statement made in a bank is to be returned, the Treasury will pay the amount within a maximum period of ten business days, while if it is to be entered, it will charge from the first week of July.

The Diputación has explained that this service is free for any taxpayer and it is not necessary to be a client of the entity to use it, although it must be arranged by appointment. All the information about the offices that participate in the rent campaign and how to make an appointment is available on the rent website, www.bizkaia.eus/renta. Likewise, on the same web page you can prepare and present the Income statement. This route is mandatory for the 6.870 taxpayers who must submit a declaration of Assets.
