The Royal House has confirmed the presence of the King to the Association of Naval and Ocean Engineers of Spain, the organizing entity of the congress.

Diego Fernández Casado, president of the Association, expressed the honor of having His Majesty the King of Spain presided over this meeting, highlighting his commitment to naval engineering and the challenge of sustainability in a sector that handles 90% of freight transport worldwide.

The Committee of Honor, headed by King Felipe VI, has the participation of prominent personalities from the Spanish political and business sphere, such as the Third Vice President of the Government and Minister for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, Teresa Ribera; the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, Héctor Gómez; and the mayor of Bilbao, Juan Manuel Aburto, among others.
