Accident in Cantabria leaves three dead, two from Sestao in a tragic accident

The victims of the accident in Cantabria are a 42-year-old mother and her 19-year-old son, both residents of Sestao (Bizkaia), who were walking in the area with other members of their family. The third victim is a 68-year-old woman, a neighbor of Santo Domingo de la Calzada (La Rioja), who was also in the place with her relatives.

The tragic accident took place around 20:00 p.m. on Tuesday at kilometer 0,6 of the aforementioned regional highway. According to information provided by the Spanish Government Delegation, the driver lost control of the vehicle and left the road, running over the three people who were walking along the pedestrian walkway next to the road.
