Amorebieta-Etxano hosts the 44th edition of the Bizkaiko Dantzari Eguna

Today, Amorebieta-Etxano becomes the epicenter of traditional Basque dance with the celebration of the 44th edition of the Bizkaiko Dantzari Eguna. Organized by Bizkaiko Dantzarien Biltzarra, this event will feature the participation of 3.500 dantzaris and 70 dance groups, with the special collaboration of the Udabarri Dantza group and the sponsorship of the Amorebieta-Etxano City Council, the Provincial Council of Bizkaia and the BBK.

This annual meeting is a unique opportunity for the dance groups federated in Bizkaiko Dantzarien Biltzarra to show their dedication and effort. The festive day will begin at 10:45 a.m. with a kalejira, a traditional march that will travel through the streets of San Miguel and San Pedro. These streets will become the main stage of the festival, where starting at 11:30 a.m., dantzaris arriving from different parts of Bizkaia will dance a variety of traditional dances to the rhythm of popular Basque music.
