The U-23 women's football team has announced its call and among those chosen are five talented players from Athletic Club. These soccer players, known as the "lioneses", will gather in the Soccer City of Las Rozas from Monday, May 27 to the 30th of the same month.

The players called:

1. Andrea Nanclares

Andrea Nanclares, Athletic's young and promising goalkeeper, has shown great skill and reflexes between the three sticks. Her ability to read the game and her confidence in her goal have made her worthy of this call-up.

2. Nerea Nevado

The Nerea Nevado defense is known for its solidity and its ability to intercept crucial balls. His consistent performance and ability to lead the defensive line are qualities that have earned him a place in the under-23 team.

3. Jone Elexpuru

Jone Elexpuru, a versatile midfielder, has shown great ability to connect defense with attack. Her vision of the game and her precision in her passes make her a fundamental piece for both her club and the national team.

4. Ane Zubieta

Ane Zubieta, another outstanding midfielder, brings balance and creativity to the midfield. Her ability to recover balls and distribute the game effectively make her indispensable in the team's core.

5. Nerea Pinedo

Nerea Pinedo, Athletic forward, has earned her call-up thanks to her scoring instinct and her ability to generate scoring opportunities. Her speed and accuracy in front of goal will be crucial for the under-23 team.

Concentration in Las Rozas

The five lionesses will join the rest of the team at the Las Rozas Football City, where training and tactical sessions will be carried out under the supervision of the U-23 coaching staff. This call is not only a recognition of their talent and effort, but also an opportunity for them to continue developing and demonstrating their worth at the national level.

This concentration will allow the players to not only improve their individual skills, but also strengthen team spirit and cohesion, essential elements for success in future competitions.

The lionesses have a great projection ahead of them

Athletic Club continues to demonstrate its ability to train and develop young talent that can compete at the highest level. The call-up of these five players is a testament to the excellent work being done in the club's youth ranks and the quality of its players.

We are sure that Nanclares, Nevado, Elexpuru, Zubieta and Pinedo will make the most of this experience, and we want to see them shine with the under-23 team, taking Athletic's pride to the national level.

Congratulations to the lionesses summoned and much success in Las Rozas!
