Iker Unzueta and Ryan Edwards, with goals at the end, keep Amorebieta's dream of continuing another year in the second category of Spanish football alive.

The excitement was palpable in the atmosphere of the Lezama stadium. Amorebieta was risking their stay in LaLiga Hypermotion and the absence of Félix Garreta, a center back on loan from Betis, set an emotional tone in the 28th minute, where he was applauded with the "Fuerza Félix" mosaic after his accident. The situation led Jandro Castro, local coach, to modify the tactical system, moving to a 1-4-4-2 with Iker Unzueta and Eneko Jauregi leading the attack. Jorge Yriarte entered as a pivot next to Morán, and Jon Morcillo changed positions to balance the wings.

The first half ended goalless after a solid defense by Amorebieta and a Villarreal B team that lost its striker Alex Forés.

In the second half, the duel got red hot with an expulsion and a penalty that did not go well for the yellow reserve team. Espigares knocked down Jauregi and left with a red card, while a handball from Gayá led to a penalty that Magunagoitia saved with a heroic intervention. Although Unzueta scored with a volley, the goal was disallowed for an infringement. Villalibre responded with a high shot, and Villarreal B was able to tie with a header from Jorge Pascual that went wide.

In the end, Edwards' goal in the 100th minute unleashed madness in Lezama.

Amorebieta suffered until the last minute to maintain their advantage and close the score at 2-0 with a final rebound after a shot from Dorrio and another from Locadia that hit the post. A victory that strengthens the hope of their permanence in the league.
