Prison order for a 19-year-old accused of sexual assault in Durango

Last Saturday, a judge ordered the admission of a 19-year-old to the Basauri prison (Bizkaia). This individual is the main suspect in the sexual assaults on two women that occurred in Durango on April 6, as reported by the Basque Department of Security.

The denounced facts

Last April, two women denounced before the Ertzaintza have been victims of sexual assault. These crimes were committed on the 6th of that same month in the municipality of Durango. One of the incidents took place on public roads and the other inside a building, with a short time interval between them, approximately an hour or an hour and a half.

Investigation and arrest of the suspect
